If you are staying during the winter months, be sure to go downtown for the Night of Lights, each year from November to January in the downtown St Augustine area. There are over a million white lights lining the streets for a breath-taking display.

If it's culture you are looking for then check out the art districts, there are five separate districts with galleries from renowned artists displaying artwork of all types and mediums. The first Friday  of each month there is a First Friday Artwalk, which tours the five art districts for an "open house" of more than 25 featured galleries. St. Augustine is truly an art connoisseur's dream.
